How a 50-Piece MOQ Works for Custom Womenswear

A 50-piece minimum can help a fashion brand explore a custom womenswear design without committing to a large first run. For suitable standard styles at Night Clothing, the starting quantity is 50 pieces per style and colour. Sizes can be mixed within that quantity. The minimum for a particular garment is confirmed after its materials and construction are reviewed.

What does “per style and colour” mean?

A style is an individual garment design. Colour is considered separately: 50 pieces in one approved colour can contain a mix of sizes. Do not assume that different designs or different colours can automatically be combined to reach the minimum. Share your proposed breakdown when you enquire so the factory can check the order.

Which projects may need at least 100 pieces?

All-over heavy beading, large-area three-dimensional hand embroidery and complex special rhinestone work require at least 100 pieces under our stated rules. Flat-screen or rotary-screen printing, independently moulded metal trims and certain specially moulded rhinestone processes also start at 100 pieces. The material itself can affect the order: customer-specific woven jacquard, special yarn-dyed fabrics and imported fabric with a high supplier minimum may require at least 100 pieces.

What can be discussed at the standard minimum?

Depending on the approved design and material, options include changes to fit and measurements, colour development, digital printing, woven and care labels, hangtags and private-label packaging. Localised beadwork or appliqué can be discussed. The feasibility of each option must be confirmed for the specific style.

What should you send?

Send a reference image, sample or technical pack, the intended colour, target quantity and size range. If you already have a fabric or trim requirement, include that as well. We can then review the brief and confirm the applicable minimum, sampling approach and quotation.
